1. What This Policy Covers

This policy explains how Furcrush uses browser storage to make the website work. Under EU ePrivacy law the same rules apply to cookies and to similar technologies such as localStorage, so for clarity we cover both under the umbrella term "cookies" throughout this document — even though, as of May 15, 2026, the Furcrush website does not set any HTTP cookies of its own. All of the storage described below lives in your browser's localStorage.

2. Strictly Necessary Storage

Essential for the website to function. The items below cannot be disabled because turning them off would break the site.

• age_verified — remembers that you confirmed you are 18 or older on the age gate. Required for legal compliance on an 18+ platform. Stored indefinitely in localStorage.
• furcrush_lang — stores your chosen interface language (EN/DE/ES/PT). Treated as strictly necessary because a multilingual service cannot function consistently if it forgets your language on every page load. Stored indefinitely in localStorage.

Note: Cloudflare, which hosts and protects this site, may automatically set its own security cookies such as cf_clearance or __cf_bm when its bot protection is triggered. Those are set directly by Cloudflare, not by us, and are strictly necessary for the site to pass bot-mitigation checks.

3. Optional Storage

None. Furcrush does not currently store anything that could meaningfully be classified as optional or user-tracking. All browser storage we use is in the list above and is strictly necessary to operate the site.

4. Analytics

We do not run any analytics or tracking tools. No third-party tracking scripts of any kind. We do not know how many people visit the site or what they click on, beyond what Cloudflare shows us in its hosting dashboard (which is server-side aggregated request counts, not browser-side tracking).

If this ever changes, this policy will be updated first, and any new optional storage will be disclosed here and gated behind explicit opt-in consent before it ships.

5. What We Do NOT Use

• No advertising cookies or storage
• No tracking pixels
• No third-party marketing SDKs
• No social-media tracking embeds
• No Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or similar
• No session-recording or heatmap tools

6. Managing Your Stored Data

Because Furcrush only uses strictly necessary storage, there is nothing to opt in or out of, and therefore no cookie consent banner is shown. Under EU ePrivacy Directive Article 5(3), consent is not required for storage that is strictly necessary to provide a service the user explicitly requested (such as age verification on an 18+ platform and remembering a multilingual visitor's language choice), so the site relies on this page as its primary disclosure instead of an interrupt-style banner.

You can clear every stored flag at any time by clearing your browser's site data for Furcrush. Doing so will also clear the age verification flag, so you will be re-prompted on the age gate on your next visit.
